Help us test a new treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease

Alzheimer’s Disease is one of the leading causes of death in Australia, second only to Ischemic Heart Disease. It is the most common cause of dementia and accounts for 60 percent to 80 percent of dementia cases. In Australia, more than 425,000 people are living with dementia. Without a medical breakthrough, the number of people with dementia is expected to be over 1,100,000 by 2056.

There is currently no cure for Alzheimer’s Disease. The medications currently available provide short term symptomatic treatment and there are no drugs available that can directly treat the disease.

This research is in collaboration with The Perron Institute, WA's leading neurological and neuromuscular research centre. Remuneration is based on completion of all appointments and any required phone calls.
